Welcome to StarryDraik Explains it All! Your one-stop answers to the entire Clue Quest :) For those of you who did not get a chance to complete the quest, then I'll admit now that I am the esteemed, evil Kulprit who took Zoemer. (gasp!)

Well, Zoemer has been found, thanks to the valiant efforts of the many forum members, who searched abroad through Neopia and lost many brain cells to save the forum mascot. Here is the solution, in case you were wondering how everybody did it. Images are included to help explain how to solve each clue. Click on the logo to visit that clue page! Thanks for visiting!

The first clue was the P.S. in the note the Kulprit left.

The hints to solving this puzzle was the words 22 to the right and Caesar Shift (The Black Chamber). But visiting Google.com and typing in "Caesar Shift (The Black Chamber)", you find this nifty site. It solves the puzzle for you! All you needed to remember was to set the number of lines to 22 :)

For those of us who solved this clue by hand, you could have used the following code: A = E, B = F, C = G, D = H, etc. :)

Either way, when decoded, you get the following message:

Have-you-the-brains-to-decode-this?
I-offer-you-one-hint: [22 to the right].
As-you-set-your-mind-to-this-task,
I-shall-have-tea-with-iceewaters.

Iceewaters is the key to the next clue. By looking up "iceewaters" on the Neopets search engine, you find your next clue.

At Iceewaters pet lookup, you find that the Kulprit has gone to Henrietta's Country Club. He leaves you a note and the URL to the next clue.

By taking the red letters only, you spell out the word snarhook. You will need this for the next clue.

Click here to see the note from the Kulprit with the right letters marked!

At the Country Club's door, you are asked for the member password to enter. Type in snarhook, which you obtained from the last clue, and you reach the next clue.

This clue only worked if you typed in the correct password and clicked on the "Enter" button, as using the wrong password would give you an error and hitting the enter button on your keyboard just refreshed the page.

Thanks to Webmaster's awesome PHP skills for this page :P

Inside the Country Club, you find that you are in a cave with a staircase, but you can't find the switch to let you in. By clicking on the two green leaves towards the middle right side of the picture, you are taken to your next clue :)

This clue greets you with one hundred little checkboxes. To "escape" from this page, you need to click on each checkbox until you find the one that hints your next clue.

Every time, a random box is selected as the "hotspot" and clicking on this box will give you the following message:

Hey! You found the right door! A note pinned on the back of the door says: 7-8-1-14-9-5-20.

Decoding the numbers using A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. will give you the word ghaniet. The next clue is at Ghaniet's petpage.

At Ghaniet's petpage, you find the Clue Quest logo, but no apparent clue in sight.

If you recalled the requirements of the quest, then viewing the source of this page would yield your next clue. By right clicking and selecting View Source, you find this message in the source code:

<///---THERE HAS BEEN A BLACKOUT, SECURING DATABASES. ACCESS CODE: Blackout.html THERE HAS BEEN A BLACKOUT, SECURING DATABASES. ACCESS CODE: Blackout.html THERE HAS BEEN A BLACKOUT, SECURING DATABASES. ACCESS CODE: Blackout.html THERE HAS BEEN A BLACKOUT, SECURING DATABASES. ACCESS CODE: Blackout.html----///>
Your next clue is at Blackout.html.

As you enter the Blackout page, you are greeted by a mini-earthquake. A scrolling message tells you the the Kulprit is nowhere to be seen, and there appears to be no clue in sight.

If you use select all on the entire page, you find a hidden square in the center of the page. Clicking on the square changes the background, you that you see the following message now:

Hey! You've found the emergency power switch! Well, what are you waiting for? Go after the Kulprit! I do believe the Kulprit has gone shopping... Shopping.html

Your next clue is at Shopping.html.

Click here to see a screenshot of where the hidden image is.

This clue had 10 items from Neopets and a box full of letters that you could drag. Once you had dragged out all the letters and correctly spelled the ten items, you were left with the letters DELT. Using the Search feature at the NeoItems forums led you to your next clue.

The items are as follows :)

Curried Pasty
Sad Spell
Chocolate Ixi Leaf
Water Pizza
Faerie Fondant
Sugar Bridge
Escaped Pixel
Cloud Slushie
Snomorg
Bludberry

After searching DELT in the forums (you needed to change the date range a little), you find mention of DELT in someone's post :)
DELT? You mean http://www.neoitems.net/theDELT.html !

This leads you to your next clue...

(Note: Now located on our server; theDELT.html )

At the Department of Energetic Tonus, the Kulprit leaves you a note that is a bunch of letters with the title: "Zigzag Along". To solve it and find your next clue, you needed to read the message the right way. I know this clue annoying some of you right off Neopia, so I've included a handy diagram that illustrates the zigzag pattern - Click here :)

The message, when read in the zigzag pattern, reads: To figure out your next clue go to the userlookup of kazoozy.

At Kazoozy's userlookup, you find a complicated math problem. Also, when you highlight the entire page, you find a hidden message: Have you the right lot?

10[16(34*6/4*555/45+500000)+(85+702*702+881)]-16

Solved correctly (with order of operations) this gives you the number 85038324.

Your next clue is in the Trading Post, lot number 85038324 :)

(Note: I disabled kazoozy a few months ago because it was an empty account. Sorry ;( )

A brief message is located in the wishlist of the trade:

[Clue 12] At the seaside, Sea.html .

Your next clue is at www.neoitems.net/Sea.html :)

(Note: Trade is gone now, screenshot above. Page is now on our server; Sea.html )

This clue gets rather complicated...

To Clue 14 >> You'll notice that the words "right" and "click" are bolded on the page. If you right click the link at the bottom of the page (not normal click!), you will be taken to your next clue :)

To Clue 16 >> If you refresh the page several times, you'll see different sets of letters pop up on the sand. Putting them on top of one another in order (see here) and then reading it down in columns will result in the phrase:

gotopuzzle.html.

Clue 16 is at www.neoitems.net/Puzzle.html :)

(Note: Now on our server; Puzzle.html )

*Note*: If you saw the letters 6 U 4 E, these had nothing to do with this quest. It is from the original Neopets image, and since I could not edit the images.. ;)

At this clue, you'll see a poem and some strange black shapes.

The poem is explained here. This reveals the combination to Zoemer's cage (which, by the way, is 321984) :)

To get to your next clue, you need to use the black shapes... Step back a little and focus on the space between the shapes, not the shapes themselves. Voila! You see the word "LIFT". By dragging up the image, you find your next clue (hidden on the same page) :D

Hidden under the poem, you can see the clue better by filling it in with a paint bucket.

The clue refers to the "blackened blueprints", which are really the black Clue Quest logos, rather than the blue ones :P

The explanation is shown in the picture here - this clue tells you who the Kulprit really is. :)

Putting together all the puzzle pieces will reveal a map with a big X on it :) If you compare the map with the Neopets Explore map, then you'll see that the Kulprit is hiding in Meridell, and Zoemer is 100 miles away on Roo Island. You can see the finished map here.

And that completes the tour :P

I'd like to take this time to thank Webmaster for all the hosting and support - I had a blast watching everyone suffer-*cough* I mean, ummm... figure out all the clues :) Not blowing my cover was rather tough (and you guys did that for me, anyways ^^). Feel free to send me your PMs with comments, and/or threats for making you lose too much sleep, lol.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible, including all of you who stepped up and risked your sanity to help save good old Zoemer :P

As for those of you who thought I was mean to Zoemer...

As frantic forum members searched long and far for poor, scared Zoemer...

Hey, Zoemer! I've got to take that picture of you to convince all those members...a little more to the right; now put on a sad face...

I've got plans for another event too - *watches you all groan* No, no - it will be - *is dragged away before she can finish her sentence*

THANKS FOR PLAYING! THE END
